Pottery Painting
Average Price Per Piece $18-$35
Choose from a wide variety of pottery items, from sushi plates and serving platters to tons of fun kid items. We’ll help you gather containers of paints from our large selection, so you can create any image you desire. Then, we’ll fire your pottery, and you can pick it up about 10-14 days later.
Pottery starts at $7 for little items and goes to about $100 for larger items. The average price per piece is $18-$35. Pottery prices include studio time, the item, use of glazes and materials, and firing. It takes up to 2 weeks from the day you paint your pottery for it to be fired and ready for pick up
How it Works
Stop in whenever we’re open, by yourself, or with friends, and create something you’ll be excited to take home. No appointments are necessary. When you walk into The Fire, you’ll be surrounded by many options – and some great, inspiring examples of what you could create. All of our staff members are ready to help you through the creative process.
Don’t feel intimidated, take your time, and open your mind to an opportunity to try something new. You can choose from three types of projects: pottery painting, mosaic & glass fusing.

Glass Fusing
Average Price Per Piece $20-$50
Glass-fused items are incredible, but they are surprisingly easy to make. (Don’t worry. We won’t tell anyone if you’re making a gift.) You start with a flat piece of glass – small if you’re doing a pendant or large if you’re making a dish – and then glue additional pieces of glass on top. You can choose colors and shapes, from thin lines to large squares or circles. When you’re done, we’ll fuse the pieces together. If you’re making a bowl or serving platter, we’ll shape your fused item using a mold. Items take a while to fuse & cool safely, so you can expect your finished piece to be ready in about 10-14 days.
Pricing starts at $8 to make a pendant with a wire loop. The average price point is $20 to $50. Pricing includes studio time, a clear base piece, colored glass to decorate with, and one firing. Specialty glass and additional firings are an extra fee. Fused items will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after being made
Mosiacs
Average Price Per Piece $20-$40
Mosaic is much easier than the stunning results might make you think. You simply choose an item to mosaic (anything from photo frames and candle holders to wall décor and mirrors) and glue small pieces of glass onto it. We have an excellent variety of colors available, as well as embellishments. Then, you can choose to take a free grout package home to finish it yourself or ask us to grout it for you for an additional 25% of the cost of the mosaic. For the ladder, you can pick up your finished project in about 10-14 days.
Mosaics cost between $15 and $80, averaging $20 to $40 per piece. Pricing includes studio time, the wooden shape, tiles and glue to decorate, and grout if you grout yourself. You can take the piece home same day with a kit and instructions to grout at home. It costs an addition 25% of the items’ price for us to grout and the item will be ready in one week. You can bring in your own flat wooden base and use our glue, tiles, and grout for 25 cents per square inch.
